Introduction

goTom offers an API to synchronize customer data from an external source (e.g., Salesforce). The external source sends an authorized POST request to goTom, containing a URL from which the data can be retrieved. If the request is successful, goTom accesses the provided URL and syncs the customer data into its system.

In this example, the "Demo" instance with sample data is used as a reference. To enable external synchronization of customer data, goTom must first be configured by our support team ([email protected]). Once configured, customer data can only be updated via the API and not directly within goTom.
